how can i covert that ac to dc?
i want to make a charger for my mobile by using wind mill system(while traveling by roadways).
but the output of the dynamo will be of ac ...but i want to convert that ac to dc.
can u give me a small circuit convenient to the mini charger to convert ac to dc....
also one more info my charger needs voltage of 5.0V and 0.7A........

To convert a.c. to d.c. you only need a bridge rectifier, however, your mobile may not like the alteration in voltage and do silly things like shut down when charged at 3 volts. It may be easier to carry extra batteries between stops or a small solar panel with a voltage regulator. That way you swap the weight of the mill for the weight of a panel and battery storage. You haven't specified how you will be travelling, walking, by bike or motor bike. If your walking or pedaling I don't think the wind mill idea will work, if your motorcycling you've already got a d.c. power supply on board. Sorry I cannot help more.
