When Qualcomm isn't churning out high-tech smartphone chips for Apple. Nokia, and Samsung, it gets busy with side projects such as this - a 3G mini-notebook that runs on Linux. Not surprisingly, it's touted as the latest "Eee PC killer" and should be made available at about the same pricepoint, which is around $299 USD. The Qualcomm 3G Linux mini-notebook is being reworked to be compatible with Windows Mobile 7 on the company's Snapdragon chipsets, which would really make it like an overgrown smartphone. Details are sketchy about this little model's features and release and availability haven't been confirmed just yet. This would add yet another entry to the already crowded mini-notebook arena. But that's a good thing.
